Please Note: The uniform outlined below applies to learners from Grade 1 onward.
Grade R learners are only required to wear the sports attire as described.

Prescribed Uniform for Learners in Grade 1 to 7

School uniform plays an important role in a learner’s school career. Besides creating basic uniformity and equality in the school, it also helps the learner to develop a sense of pride in his/her school. It is thus necessary for each learner to be correctly and neatly attired every school day.

  • Only the school track suit top or school anorak will be allowed with the tracksuit pants.

ACCESSORIES

JERSEYS ,ANORAKS , CAPS AND BEANIES

  • Learners can wear a school jerseys, pull-overs , School anorak throughout the year.
  • Only official MVP caps and beanies allowed.
  • All accessories are available at the MVP Clothing store.

BAGS

AND COOLERS

  • Only official Monte Vista Primary schoolbags allowed.
  • A prescribed school tog bag is compulsory for all learners.
  • Optional Monte Vista Primary school lunch bags are also available.

BEST PRACTICES

  • Sports clothes must be clean and tidy at all times.
  • No ‘healie tekkies’ (even without wheels) will be allowed.
  • Shoes may not be sneakers or “tommie tekkies”.
  • Ski pants/cycle shorts may not be worn with sports attire.
  • Boys may not wear boxers under their sport shorts
  • New learners are permitted to complete a particular season in the uniform of their previous school.
  • All articles of clothing must be clearly marked.
  • Lost clothing is handed in at reception and can be redeemed from the lost and found.
